1 - No matter what, no matter how, nothing will be "proof" enough for you, you just don't want to believe. That's ok.
2 - Proof, is something visible/calculatable/materialistic and reproduceable. None of these will ever fit regarding God
3 - You're thinking that believing in a God that cannot be "proven", is stupid when its exactly the other way around.
4 - Scientifically speaking, we have "proof" that all civilizations that once walked here on earth, had similar concepts of the divine. Ours is the first one trying to deny God.

Believing in God and following His commandments, will only lead me to a life of doing good and acting good. Which might as well be your case. You can also be a very nice person and choose not to believe in God. If you're right, I lost nothing, only lived a life of righteousness, just like you. But as someone confident in science, you are obligated to think the other way: What if you're wrong? You'll live a life of righteousness, but you're gonna have an eternal punishment after it. So weigh this, who's got more to lose?

If God exists, which is what I believe(more axactly, what I KNOW), He is the one who made you and I and everything else. He doesn't exactly "demand" you to worship Him, its a natural consequence when you recognize His greatness over everything. True believers don't worship God by demand, they worship because that's what He deserves, because that's how it is supposed to be. Its not humiliating, its not demeaning, its simply aknowledging His greatness, being thankful for what He gives you and what He takes off of you. Christians don't like to admit it, but they know they should be gratefull even for what they consider "bad" for them. God is the one in control, He can give and He can take, but this choice is started by you. You are the one in control, you choose what to do. Want to curse and blame Him? Want to call believers stupid? Want to deny Him? That's alright, you can do it. But deep down, you know what is right and what is wrong. Like me, you are descendent of "the ones who ate the fruit of knowledge of good and evil", you can define good and evil just by looking at it. But you've been led to believe that its stupid to do so. Its "unevolved" to be a believer. "They" led you to believe that believers are dumb, guillable and unworthy to even be in your presence because they can "contaminate" you with their dumbness. Whenever you question believers, they come out with bible quoting and you think that this makes them even more stupid. "Quoting a book that is a fake? What a joke!", you would think.
