It is a natural progression OP. There is a old saying that goes like this, "New levels. New Devils". Anytime that a Christian decides to take his or her faith to a new level, you can bet your savings that a stronger evil will try to come against you. However, If you can hold on and "Fix your eyes on Jesus" (Hebrews 12:2), then you will eventually have victory.

But listen, if you fall, don't give up, Just get right back up and try again. Sometimes it takes a few tries.

You are asking the Universe for the truth, and you are receiving it. Why reject its vibration when you get what you ask for? God is not present in religion. You are sending an intention to the omnipresent life force that is the essence of our creator. Drop your beliefs, start over...

Even If Jesus is not God then don't you think we should take His advice on faith? He is the most famous and influential person ever!

Don't give up. You need to tell Him what you are telling us. Tell Him your fears and ask Him to gently help you. Tell Him you are not strong and you need to be able to trust Him, but you are having trouble.

I have trouble too. I totally understand. Things happen to us in our life that cause us to have trouble believing and trusting in Him. But they can be overcome. satan will try to drive you away from Him and you mustn't allow that. No matter what happens you must always go back to the Throne of Grace and bow before Him and ask to have your relationship with Him restored.

Sometimes, God does things that we don't understand. I think you need to tell Him that your afraid and what you feel like is happening and that you need Him to gently help you some extra. He is Our Father and Our Husband(Jesus) and Our Friend ( Holy Spirit). Those are the things you must remember in your mind. Talk to Him. He loves you very much, Natalie, and He will never give up on you. Often we fail, but that doesn't mean we aren't making progress.

I had an abusive dad and sister and bad things happened at church and at school and that made me have trouble trusting anyone. What happened to make you afraid to trust? Something must have occurred in your life that interrupted your child-like faith. Remember when you were 2 and 3 and you just trusted adults and others. We can recapture that, but of course, down here we learn to be street smart and we are cautious. We have to be. I think it gets in the way of our relationship with God, but He knows. He understands. Sometimes faith is a minute by minute affair. Some of us need more reassurance than others and I don't think it's wrong to ask Him for that. It takes time.

Everyone gets depressed my friend. But hold your head up! Everything you have done wrong has been paid for. When you fail, just ask for forgiveness and try hard not to do the same thing again (repent). I have been there and it's not easy, but in the end we win!

You must fight day by day. Hate evil when it presents itself. People are not just people. You have good people and bad people. There will come a time you'll have to be angry, but do not sin in your anger.

I think we are taught to be double minded down here. It's subtle training and we don't even know that it's happening, but it does. We are told one thing, but witness a different principle in action. The guys on here tell me it's "cognitive dissonence". It happens. We need to look back and figure out where it happened to us and counter those messages. We also need to forgive the people who taught us these things because they were weak and didn't know what they were doing at the time.

God is not only God in the good sense. When you suckup to Him too much, just like with real people, He will start to hate you.

Try praying for less faith.

So then if one is to receive faith then he truly receives something that no heathen man may ever receive. If a man truly gets faith then he gets for himself testimony of God's authority. For by faith I am where I am today and no man who was not of God could have gone through what I have gone through and gotten what I have begotten if God had not given it to him.

Nor can a man strengthen faith, this is foolishness. Every man who is of God is given a measure of faith by God and no man can get any more than what has been decided for him. You do well to ask for more, for no man knows how much he is to receive, but you have asked in ignorance not knowing what you ask for.

One cannot lose faith except by fear because fear kills faith.
