Yep User ID: 27940949 United States 01/30/2014 08:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I grabbed two handfuls of snow. I took them in the garage and put one in the freezer and one in the vice. I tightened the vice as much as I could until it stopped. Once I was confident that the ball of "snow" was secure I pulled out my Barrett REC7. I started pumping that sucker full of rounds. NOTHING. The bullets bounced off and the snow ball was still there. I thought OK,let me try something new. I pulled out my M2 flame thrower and blasted that little helpless ball of snow. For 4 minutes I never let up on the trigger. When the smoke cleared and I caught a glimpse I noticed it had grown in size and hadn't melted at all. It was absorbing the energy from the M2. FUCK. All I could smell was burnt fuel????? Weird...cause snow shouldn't smell like fuel, especially after blasting with an M2 for 4 minutes. Quoting: LOLFAKESNOW 1547157 I decided to let that monster alone and check out my freezer sample. I opened the door and gazed in. Past the pizza rolls, the bag of corn and beer mugs there it was.. my GOD!!! The ball had turned into a baby unicorn, freezing it's balls off but awake. So anyone who thinks this is real snow... think again. Do your own tests. Hahahahahaha! Snort. Your sarcasm is noted. Would be nice if folks took the test beyond a single youtube video, wouldn't it? |

Black smoke rising from it, and no melt. The people in this video don't live that far from me, once I saw their video, I decided to try it. I can't believe this shit. What the hell is it? I'm going to use a candle now instead of a lighter. I want to find out if I get the same horrible smell. Quoting: Wildthing [link to www.facebook.com (secure)] Same black smoke, same burnt snow, same horrible smell when burnt with a candle. Exactly. And you know what? I'm flicking my lighter right now repeatedly, and then putting my nose right up to it. Guess what? No smell! :smokin1: |

b|ink User ID: 10032593 Canada 01/30/2014 08:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm in Northern Ontario, we are totally familiar with snow.. I saw this post yesterday and I thought nah.. it's been a hard winter, but it's definitely snow & we've got allot of it. Seriously people something is not & it's not just in Georgia. I stepped out today and got about 4 ounces of snow, packed it together & put it on a saucer.. hoping to to prove this wrong. 5 minutes on a plate and it hadn't started to melt yet.. I took a propane lighter to it.. it clumped up & turned clear but no water under it.. 10 minutes later it started to disappear with very little water on the plate. After 15 minutes under a torch it finally dissipated & of the four ounces of snow I used as a sample.. maybe a table spoon of water was left on the saucer & then it evaporated within a minute. I have no idea what this shit is out there.. but it's not snow.!! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 53244913 I say until proven otherwise I live in Ontario Canada, and just tried it for myself. The snow turns black and does not melt...but most disconcertingis that there has been a snow storm in our county that has been snowing in the SAME SPOT for 5 days straight. Anyone with a brain will know snowstorms, much like rain clouds, do not remain in one spot, they move with the jet stream. This is HAARP, geoengineering. The snow is not natural, and is in fact, toxic. Somebody pin this. are you really that nuts? your snow in ontario doesn't melt? yah. ok. |

It did not turn black, but it did not drop from where I was holding the flame to it. But it was melting where my fingers were touching it when I held it. I was not wearing gloves. It was clean snow, no debris in my hand where it melted. I call BS. |

Quoting: Wildthing Have you ever held a candle to anything else besides a snowball? Say, as a teenager to, oh, I don't know, a wall or a concrete ceiling to write your name or other graffiti? Candles produce A LOT of soot. Pretty much all burned shit smells alike. It just smells like burned crap. Again, do this same candle test with an ice cube out of your freezer. I did it. You will get the same, stinky, sooty result. EXCEPT...with ice cubes, due to tight crystal structure, you will produce drips. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 46372301 United States 01/30/2014 08:19 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've been around snow all my life and what you must remember is that snow is like a sponge and retains water and only after a few minutes or maybe more would water begin to drip. Think of it this way take a snowball and ice cube of same size and which one contains more water? The ice cube if course. That's why an inch of rain is equivalent to 10 inches of snow. Do the math. |

Dust and dirt in the snow. When it's cold the air is usually dry, and the dust can be blown from miles away. The wife is a big fan of making slushies from the snow, I think it's gross, but she hasn't gotten sick yet. After her slushy melts there is usually all kinds of stuff at the bottom of the glass, spruce needles, moss, lichen, dirt and who knows what. Flux |
