Department of Homeland Security Launches Veteran Cybersecurity Hiring Pilot

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently launched a Veteran Cybersecurity Hiring Pilot. The program aims to strengthen the Department's cybersecurity mission by building a strong workforce responsible for protecting the nation's information systems, networks and critical infrastructure. Through this initiative, DHS will enhance opportunities for veterans to receive education or employment in cybersecurity positions.

DHS is looking for candidates with the following skills or experience: Cyber Incident Response, Cyber Risk and Strategic Analysis, Vulnerability Detection and Assessment, Intelligence and Investigation, Networks and Systems Engineering, Digital Forensics
