What does it mean to be "free"?


As the assault on freedom across first world nations, especially in America continues to ramp up, I believe that the baseline concept of what it means to be 'free' has already been lost.
The ignorant masses today accept taxation of every aspect of their lives as normal, government regulation as either "good" or at least necessary, and now with social media it is becoming more and more necessary to consider the good of the many when making personal choices.
