Very interesting. My journey was the same.

In my case, I studied Law, but not to become a money-grubbing Lawyer. Law is only words, and I soon discovered that every Word has a definite meaning. Otherwise there is no Law. For example, how can you enforce "Thou shalt not steal", if no one can agree what stealing is?

People apply for permission to "Drive", because they don't know that they are not a "Driver". People pay "Income" Tax, because they don't know that they don't earn any Income. The legal system gains its power by keeping people confused about the definite meaning of Words.

But it goes far beyond that. What started for me as a quest to comprehend the Law, so that I was no longer controlled by it, changed into a quest to understand Money, because all modern Law regulates Money. And eventually I found the quest had changed yet again to a quest for Eternal Life. Yet I had no idea that this initial exploration into the definite meaning of Words would eventually reveal to me the secret(s) to Eternal Life. This was not my original goal. I started out having no idea what I was actually looking for!

Finally, Enoch was translated, Elijah was translated, and Jesus was translated, and none of these "translations" had anything to do with foreign language! Yet we are all taught that this is what the word actually means.
