They are attributing the unusual signal to "strong bursts of electronic noise contaminating its data."

I am not sure where these "strong bursts of electronic noise" are originating from, or what the source is.

I have noticed in the past some unusual appearing activity from the B944 borehole sensor in the past, but it usually has resolved without apparent incident. Yellowstone in recent months has seemed pretty quiet. No one alive really knows if Yellowstone will behave like a typical volcano when it erupts, or not. Yellowstone has also had smaller, non-super volcano eruptions in the past, the lava flows as recently as around 70,000 years ago in the Pitchstone plateau area.

Lets hope it's not a precursor for the "big one", the odds are hopefully in our favor, but I don't exactly trust the USGS to give the public much advance warning if they do suspect a problem.

The sole purpose of this effort could ONLY be to destabilize the Yellowstone caldera with the intent of causing an eruption of the super volcano.
TRN has the proof, shown below; now the world has it too. Common sense dictates this type of effort can only be undertaken by a nation-state. USGS responds to Yellowstone earthquake warning.
(Newsroom America) -- The USGS says a story circulating across the Internet over the past few days reporting abnormally strong earthquake activity in Yellowstone National Park is wrong.
It says earthquake activity in Yellowstone has been at normal levels for the past several months.
The story appears to be based on a misinterpretation of public "webicorders", which are graphics depicting seismic data, on the University of Utah Seismographic Station (UUSS) web site (UU operates the Yellowstone Seismic Network).
A borehole seismometer called "B944", located near the West Thumb region of the Park, has been malfunctioning in recent weeks with strong bursts of electronic noise contaminating its data.
"These noise bursts appear as wild excursions on the B944 webicorders that can appear alarming to the inexperienced eye," said the USGS.
