Quoting: Diluted_Jack I would rate Ayn Rand anywhere up there, also, I remember, early 20s, running to California to "start fresh" and while in the Hostel reading "Atlas Shrugged" and from that moment on just thinking differently about life. What about you? What book changed your life? Real quick: "Truman" by David McC - really connected to me, about President Harry Truman - whom in the book I felt as if we shared similar traits, attributes, and in a VANILLA SKY moment.... One client of mine said "Your passion reminds me of a young Harry Truman." So that has stuck. How about you? the books of Adam n Eve, the Giant scroll of Isaiah, The Book of Jubilee, the first and second books of Enoch A Branch |

Really opens your eyes to the horror the catholic church imposed on the world for 1260 years. Share the struggles, hopes and joys and ultimately their painful and sometimes down right disgusting deaths at the hands of the popes and jesuits of rome. Very eye opening |

I'm adding everyone suggestions into books I'm going to order or E-book'em. Much appreciated! |

Esoteric Morgan ...in awe of many things User ID: 26943919 United States 03/07/2014 12:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | For me it was one book containing Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. These might sound like children's stories, yet, for some reason I would continue to read them into college and beyond. They presented me a world that wasn't quite as it seemed on the surface, yet, one that was easy to see through and navigate once you learned to discern each element individually --which, if you learned your lesson well, would hopefully allow you trump it on its own terms. It's full of wisdom and life lessons presented rather neatly in double-speak and nonsense, much like our own world. -- TRUST THE PLAN -- .......WWG1WGA...... ____________________________ still in awe of many things |
