Gulf War Registry
Did you deploy to a sandbox? OIF or OEF or the first Gulf War?
Have you been through the registry through the VA?
Are you aware of illnesses that are presumptive if you deployed to said areas? Illnesses like MS, ALS, CFS, IBS, etc.

If you deployed please go through the registry. It's basically a physical where they will ask you about exposures, symptoms, etc. When I went through they also xrayed my lungs.

The registry is not connected to the claims process, but later if you do file a claim evidence will exist if it was documented during the registry.

For Veterans that came home and felt they got the shaft the first time or didn't go down there at all - everyday they make changes to the process. Don't ever give up on a rightful claim.

If you have psych issues an easier place to start for help is the Vet Center. Face it you might not admit it but YOU know if you've got issues.

Please advocate for yourself.
If any veteran wants to message me concerning the VA I will endeavor to answer questions or try and point you in the right direction.

This is no joke I know 8 male Veterans with MS. I know many others with other illnesses and struggles as a result of their service. Let the VA help.

Does the same apply to civilians that have deployed to support the wars?

The Gulf War registry at the VA. Google it it will pop right up. It's done through the office of occupational health. They have a an agent orange registry as well and I thought I heard they were adding a burn pit registry.
