'Lunatic fringe' per this site's header - that certainly sums up a lot of the posts here. A lot of the illuminati stuff seems to be very similar to all the blood libels of the past by fascist racists about the Jews which claimed they sacrificed children etc and which when promulgated by people who claimed to be Christians brought shame on our faith. Obviously there have always been people who mistake zealotry and fanaticism for real faith.
