Madame X (OP) User ID: 628775 Canada 02/07/2014 10:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I just find it wierd. It's like in movies when they fall a cliff and their like AAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaahhhhh. It's not realistic. It does seem like something from out of a movie, but after spinning out in front of a semi myself, I get his reaction. When I spun out, every time the car spun around heading towards the semi, we locked eyes and knew we could only pray that we didn't collide. My car stopped inches from the semi, an angel was watching out for me. You see it coming and can't do a damn thing about it. The South Park Agenda User ID: 18998741 United States 02/07/2014 11:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | been in a very similar position and i didnt lose my cool, losing your cool makes you die faster. i was on the phone when a van full of illegals tried to round a semi witha serious head wind on a 60-70mph 2 lane highway. I told the person i was talking to i had to go because i was about to die.... dropped the phone on floor and tried to brace. two canals on each side o the road. this was in CA central valley. well the van barely missed me and the nearly took a broad side from the semi as it swerved infront of the semi and right into the canal. shit was real... pulled over to help the family that just plunged into the canal. as other witnesses and myself ran up to the scene, the family was already off loading the rest of the illegals from the sinking mini van. we all watched as the other van took off fully loaded with about 12 people and the sinking van slowly went under water. we were all so stunned... only lived because i kept my cool Stuff and goodies... |

Happy to hear you survived. He is lucky he didn't die and although he squealed like a girl, he did keep it together when it came to the rig. Icy roads you can't stop on and a steep drop off into the ravine, he did keep his cool and his rig on the road, not an easy thing to do. If you stop too quickly on roads in that condition, in a semi, the rig would have jacknifed and everyone would have been wiped out. The outcome could have been much worse. No wonder I hate highway driving in the winter. "The wise man's home is the universe." ~ Democrites Catch the blue train...somewhere down that crazy river. |

Never been in a car spinning out on the highway have you? Sometimes it's really not a smart idea to jump. While I was in Saudi one of the military semis got out of control. One guy jumped and the back end swung around and killed him. The others that stayed in the truck were ok. |
