Thank you all for writing your take on this movie. It is one I definitely will take the kids to. Sometimes it seems we only report on what is bad but it is so refreshing to see something good

By identifying with the hero, people believe they themselves are already enlightened and better than the masses. No one is teaching the masses HOW to wake up. Just the hero wakes up and thus viewers believe themselves a hero too...without any necessary work, or thinking, or awareness I have a friend like this who was coincidentally raving about this movie last night he just sits around playing video games, watching childrens cartoons or Nickelodeon in his spare time. never tries to better himself, learn a new skill, or do anything "new". a goodie two-shoes at best these people have a weird elitist attitude because they've been told throughout school how smart they are.. A's and B's in AP classes so they think they're so much better than the regular kids in regular classes. still stuck in that high school mentality... Ugh... My whole family has this elitist mentality, lol This is exactly the problem I outlined in another post... The movies are actually installing this elitist mentality. Movies COULD be teaching people how to think. Instead, they tell people WHAT to think...that they are better than everyone else.
