I know the place your looking for, but I'm not sure if I want you there so I'll keep it to my self.

Michigan is great, And yes there's quite a few people, but there're leaving by the thousands, which is fine by me.

But actually I think I'd like Montana or Alaska more, And I'd move, except I love my Michigan.

A different planet - but not the one the current thugs in power will be condemned to. They will be escorted there very soon.

Then this planet can heal...

So if you can put up with it a bit longer (thru the kicking and screaming of them being removed ) it should get very interesting

Washington, D.C. And surrounding areas. Very intelligent successful people migrate there. They aren't country bumpkins, or small town dipshits. And if they are they change real quick .


Lots of jobs and money, great city, mountains are close beach is close. Driving distance.

Away from the proletariat that's for sure.....away from gun nutters and tattooed welfare moms and tattooed wanna be tough guys who deliver pizza for a few bucks...

Washington, D.C. It's one of the last places decent people can find.

Yup, I will retire in the UP. I lived in Houghton as a teen I've always missed it, but Detroit, Flint that whole area sucks.

I'm looking to visit an area that has greenery, yet still affordable. Not wanting to be near big city which is more expensive anyway.

Cost of living in ecuador is skyrocketing thanks to all the gringos and big investments buying up the rural properties.

Luxury places that I know through TV and internet. Actually I can't even visit there as a visitor, because I got no money.
But they seems to be best places to live in the world if you got money in your wallet.

prolly Austin texas. any weirdo that doesn't fit in anywhere can waltz over to Austin and meet 10 other weirdos and suddenly realize that hes not weird it's just that Austin doesn't have many uptight fycks there. Now he/she has tons of friends and living in a fun energetic city

Tasmania is green and cheap :) Cleanest air in the world apparently too. Only problem with that place is not much jobs...The south of Western Australia (Denmark, Bridge Town, Margaret River) is also really green and beautiful. But expensive...

Why would you not have a passport in this day and age? It's a big world out there, ya know?

Also, the state of Victoria is good too. Green, cheapish, job opportunities, nice climate, awesome people...

Not when you grow your own vegies and stay home ;)
