Search for power within and not in words and if you do not know how to look for that i suggest you read books on how to do that not books to tell you whom you should be or what you should love. |

If you are going into peri-menopause (some women as early as 35) you should be looking into bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, not goddess books. [link to www.lef.org] This group has a good understanding of the problem and the solution. You probably also suffer from vitamin D3 deficiency as most people do in the US. Deficiencies cause depression, lowered immune response, weight gain, and anxiety among other things. Rather than supplement at 400 IU vitamin D per day the latest studies show that 5,000 to 10,000 IU per day is a more reasonable amount to get the levels up to where they should be. You will not find any doctors in Big Pharma that know about this or would even agree with it. The research has been done but it is not in Big Pharma's financial interest for the masses to become significantly more healthy for pennies a day. [link to www.lef.org] <<<<Vitamin D3 is well known for its role for the growth and health of the bone as it helps to regulate the absorption of calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium. ....(it)has the potential to reduce the risk of other diseases such as breast, colon and prostate cancers, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, autism, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes, asthma, Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, muscle weakness due to aging, joint, low back and muscle pain, osteo and rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation, and regulation of neuromuscular and immune function. >>>> [link to www.livewellnaturally.com] |

Enjoy and thrive! Those titles sound great. Checking out now! I need to get out of this funk. I will read any thing that Starhawk writes. She is very wise indeed. |
