I am all for the doom but there is a big difference between 1929 and today. Back in 29 stocks were owned by individuals. Now the big money is all in Mutual funds and etfs from institutional investors. So unless they do it on purpose to force everyone into a MyIra account for pennies on the dollar. I expect nothing more than a 12% correction which we have had 6% already.
