Sadists V.Pedophiles: Who's more dangerous to children?

100% of sadists want to hurt others, if we can agree on that fact then let's continue.

I did research to try and figure out what percentage of the general population of the world is a rapist and it's approximately 5%. If we assume that pedophiles are 500% more dangerous than the general population, that would mean 25% of pedophiles are rapists/molesters (as I would put molestation in the same category as rape). If we assume that pedophiles are 1000% more dangerous than the general population, that would mean 50% of pedophiles are rapists/molesters. I'm not going any higher than 1000% more dangerous, it doesn't seem reasonable to me but I'll listen to anyone's argument on the contrary.

Let's say 50% of pedophiles will rape/molest children if given the chance.

On the other hand, 100% of sadists want to hurt others.

Let's look at the actual dangers:

Pedophiles can only rape/molest in a few special situations such as being alone with a child.

Sadists on the other hand, can inflict harm anywhere, anytime, using an infinite number of methods.

For example, a sadistic teacher can use verbal abuse, mental abuse, unfair grading, and an endless list of schemes and methods to cause pain and harm to his/her students.

Why don't parents warn their children about sadists and the fact that they're lurking everywhere? Thinking back, I didn't really become aware of what sadism was and its significance until I became an adult. I think my parents failed me. I had sadistic teachers and it would have come in handy to be able to label them as sadists and understand their behavior by using psychological knowledge rather than just being run over by them and being ignorant of the reasons for their behavior.

If children knew how important of an issue sadism is in society and understood the characteristics of sadists they could help rid the educational system of sadistic teachers by calling them on their evil ways and by making informed complaints against the teachers.

I don't understand the above failure by parents and it makes me very sad and disappointed.
