Heads up. Mil Jets full afterburners headed West.... Alert!

This was way South of Salina. It was in-line between Hutchison and Garden City when it disappeared.

It took off from McGuire Air Force Base in NJ

Looks like it took off from Philly, hit Kansas, and now turning around.

never seen any ospreys operate over OK, only seen f16s and blackhawks so far.

Here is a thought. I first heard the afterburners as it passed over Wolf Creek Nuclear plant.... It was intercepted there.....

Wasn't King Abdullah or whatever from Jordan here with Obamarama recently? But then he wouldn't be on a Saudi plane, would he?

I just hit the link and it's heading almost due east, of Kansas City.

I heard an afterburner heading northwest, this morning around 10:30, Ohio river.

What is even stranger is that it was well after Hutchison when it blipped off the screen. Then nothing would pull up under the flight for quite some time.

Now you can search again for the flight and it is headed in the opposite direction and the trajectory shows the turn back East well before Hutchison.

Very fishy!

Check its path on the inbound trip into KS South of Topeka, spot the two lakes, zoom on the right one. That grey area it the nuclear plant....

true statement: I don't know anything about these jests being scrambled. I live near a very large AFB in the SW and have not seen or heard anything today.

baseless speculation: perhaps a Russian high altitude bomber was shot down by US forces on the way to delivering it's nuke payload. The jests scrambled today were security for the prince as he returned to Saudi Arabia.

Three Royal Saudi Air Force F15s arrive from Spain with two of their own tankers (RSAF2403 344141 & RSAF2401 7102f9). They also had help from Blue 81 86-0030 and BLUE83 58-0077. The fighters went to Seymour Johnson AFB and their A-330 MRTT tankers went to McGuire AFB. Eventually they will arrive at Nellis AFB for Red Flag 2014.

You're out of context, re-read from the beginning. Not just a normal jet that's tracked, it's a saudi royal air force jet..

Seems like an odd jet to have in an Air Force.

Probably a modified luxury liner for one of the Princes.

My husband says they are just flying over all the real estate and peons they are about to own - checking on what they are getting for their oil and dollars. :)
