Again this stuff is almost included in basic human conscience. All humans have this capability, and practice it.


There are no standardizations for what creates a nation, but there are general rules.

You need a population under one Government
Your population needs to recognize themselves as a Nation
You need to have laws
You need a contract that binds all people in your nation

The Native Americans had not a single one of these.

The North American natives very much had recognized nations that often went to war with each other. They had governments, generally in the form of what Europeans would call a monarchy. All large scale human societies have laws. Basic issues like theft, murder, and adultery are always addressed. Also how would classify most of European nations during the 1400-1600's based off these rules. After the fall of the Roman Empire, most of Europe was a complete cluster of a mess.


Where is your proof that Native Americans DID innovate progressively before European settlement ?

Now are you just picking North American Indians specifically or are you not aware of the incredibly smart Native Americans that inhabited areas of Mexico and below? Races like the Mayans, Incas, etc. they were incredibly advanced for have no contact from the "superior" race. How do we know that North American natives were not simply a broken off sect of the more advanced middle American natives? There are still nomad societies in Europe today.

It sounds like you really do not know much about history, both of America or of Europe. Advances in society moved at glacial speed until around the 1500's. Only then did it start picking up. And it took until about the 1800's to get the kind of speed we are seeing today.

You also might ask yourself what exactly have the Europeans gotten out of their advancement. How much better is their life and at what costs have they paid. Europeans have a long line of breaking the record for loss of human life in battles. For what?
