The best part for me are seeing the teenagers walk into a pub for the first time, take a few sips of the watered down lager, and then suddenly become morons

It is. I couldn't get off alcohol till I started on opiates and marijuana. Now I'm happier and healthier. Well maybe not healthier.

I started giving up 'hard' drinking when I woke up one day and realised I could be doing something better than hugging the toilet bowl, especially as it was blue skies and 23'c outside.

People who drink to excess continually have a dependancy problem imo, I can easily go out on a weekend and drink no more than 3 pints and a handful of cheeky cigs, and leave it at that. Most people I know just drink and drink until the sun comes up.
