Obama: "Russia is a regional power"

Even from a political-geographical point of view, Russia is a country covering three continents. This is a country whose area is about the size of North America. Russia is a leading economic, political, cultural, and especially military factor in at least two major regions of the world - Europe and Asia, and recently № 1 in the Arctic. Such a powerful state can not be simply dominant in one region - how as a naval force with four fleets as Russia, armed with the most modern nuclear weapons located at a distance of up to 8000 km apart and completely adequate as forces and resources to the US can be called a "regional power"? Even thermonuclear charges of at least two Russian submarines of the Northern Fleet of class "Borei" fired, can destroy twice its population and the entire civilian infrastructure. Such frivolous talk to Russia, whose army number of personnel exceeds that of the US by 3.5 times bigger, and artillery pieces and armored vehicles wise by up to 5 times ... so such talk is irrational and strikes with simplicity. Natural resources, especially fuel in the Russian subsoil are invaluable, and the population of Russia is educated, deeply rooted in history, and brought up by the ideas of the great classical writers, philosophers, and inventors.
