I dont thjnk we will get one. Russia is taking a more dynamic approach with their retaliatory sanctions. They make them up as and when they see fit. They have said all they need to say on the matter.

I want to hear the response to the aid, which is apparently illegal under US law.

So I don't think it adds anything to prove Russia is massing forces (for 3 weeks now, is it?) for invasion ....

I noticed you heaped praise on Jane's in another post on this topic, so I will point out the following about the pictures (in general, I do think Jane's is propaganda - i.e., an intelligence asset):

If you take the picture at the top-right, with the "31 March" caption, it is wider than the first two pictures. The left-most part of it, labeled "Additional military buildup", is not visible in the first 2 pictures. Hence it is not possible to make a comparison, which defeats the purpose of having this "timeline", no?

Also in that series of pictures, the left two images are dark and the right-most one light. This also makes any meaningful comparison impossible.

I think that these two aspects are actually intentional deception, because I don't think anyone serious about satellite reconnaissance would rely on pictures as were published.

The one picture they have of some more detail - [link to www.janes.com] (why isn't the top picture in this level of detail and in the same brightness???) - shows one small airplane and a few helicopters (at a military base, mind you). Invasion force? Really?

Seems like a pure propaganda piece to me - I would ask why publish such transparent propaganda but I guess some people will believe it.
