Poland may freak out and do something... Or Turkey may go into Syria openly.
NATO may not get involve directly, but it's members may do something that drags alliance.

Maybe by request of Kiev. All NATO members would have to agree for alliance involvement into a non member state. Is that a possibility? Or are there members who'd be dead set against it? Germany was against sending Air Forces to Libya but still agreed to NATO involvement. So its possible that peacekeeping forces will be sent.
