Fact is that - integration to EU means for Ukraine drastic price increasing of everything, fullfiling stupid quotes for everything (including restrictions on agricultural production for example) and tons of another bullshits. Joining that criminal organizations as EU or NATO is a huge mistake I think... How many percent of the Russian GDP did Putin say is what the Ukrainian workers make in Russia? It's also a big part. People should think about this stuff. |

There was a huge European flag draped on the Tower on the main market square. Yanuk didn't sign it, of course he didn't, he couldn't sell it to Russia without losing his position. Meanwhile and some time before Shell was signing deals with Ukraine to start fracking operations to extract shale gas. Yet again this was not in Russia's favour. US have had there connections within Ukraine, and they worked both EU and Ukraine to get them to sign a deal. They have some very good reasons for this. A) get US companies in to do some gas mining. B) weaken Russia as a regional player. The deal didn't go through, and US decided to sponsor those who were willing to go to Kiev to protest. They had their people from Pravy Sektor (Opposition to Yanuk, thus supported) to lead the protests, they made it all look shiny and peaceful, until it wasn't shiny and peaceful any more. Meanwhile Russia who evidently also has his infiltrators and informants in Lviv were aware of what was happening and played along in the scenario. The Ukrainian people, were and are being played like a fiddle, nobody cares about the Ukrainian people. Ukrainians make very good fiddles because for 1000$ they would kill their own brother. You might believe that the main reason for the protests was corruption and a way to a better life, and for many people on Maidan it was. But it wasn't for the organisers. The organisers wanted the Power, and US wanted to install a new government. Apparently they forgot to plan for a Russian invasion, or they didn't and we are just seeing the scenario unfold. Who knows with these people. But trust me. They didn't do it for you and you did your piece in Maidan, as you will do your piece in future plans.  |

Basically (I think he says that) that the Novorossiya people do not have their act together in Ukraine. That unlike in Crimea there are far too many who have no clear idea of what they want for their land and society. So, according to Usmanov the Russia military will not (in his opinion) be pouring across the border any time soon. On the other hand it is implied that any Ukrainians sympathetic to Russia who want to cross the border to pick up supplies of medicine, food, money, equipment, ammo, even civilian vehicles and return with them to Ukraine will be helped. And any civilian volunteers who want to enter Ukraine to join the struggle will not be stopped, but they will not, any of them, be members of the Russian armed forces. The members of the Russian armed forces are expressly prohibited from entering Ukraine (until/unless the situation significantly changes). Which means, I think, we have a civil / guerilla war in front of us because Russia will not support the aims of the West (as it keeps demanding) to allow the unopposed use of the Ukrainian military against the civilian population.
