Strange... I live in a country that got devastated by communism, but I am able to differentiate between the Russia and the communism.

1. I am pro-Russian - those people are fine nation that got so badly harmed by communism

Russia is hypocritical, it cracks down on its own separatists too, and then blames Ukraine for doing so. No country in the world would allow such separatism. And this is in reality just covert warfare by Russia, it is basically the conquering and annexation of Eastern Ukraine.

There is only two sides in this conflict.
USA(NATO) and Russia. I feel sorry for the Ukrainian people that doesn't support Kiev's current government or Russia, but there is nothing we can do about that.

I'm not sure how long you have followed the Ukraine crisis, but it all started with the molotovs in Kiev.
After the aggression reached an entire new level, regular Ukrainian protesters went home. Meanwhile the people we call facists today, kept fighting the police with weapons, molotovs and more.

THAT is the reason Russia went for Crimea.

Russia knew that NATO kept pushing this into an entire new level of fighting. That is why they had to play the Crimea part fast.

NATO want Russia to leave Crimea for two reasons only.
Pipelines and the sevastopol naval base.
That is pretty much the only reason this is still going on and sanctions are still being pushed on Russia.

I have lived in Sweden for 30+ years, both my family and I emigrated here during the Cold War. I know very well how life was "behind the wall" back in those days. Very well.

Sure, Russia has inherited a lot of crap from the Soviet era but the country has also improved a lot, you simply cannot compare Cold War-Russia to today's Russia. If you do that, then you obviously haven't crossed the border in a while.

If the Kremlin was against its own people I doubt they would have implemented the policies which they have in the last 10 years; improved living standard, improved natality, decreased mortality, etc. Confirmed by international bodies, look it up.

I doubt anyone here who is "supporting" Russia on the Ukraine issue has any wishes to bring back the Soviet Union (and neither do Russians), however what they DO want is a return to a multipolar world with at least two "super powers" so that we get a more fair and balanced geopolitical picture.

Judging from ALL available, neutral and verified information it is not Russia who is the bad guy in this conflict, on the contrary - they hold the moral high ground all the way to the fucking moon by now.

Wrong. There is the independent Ukraine side too, and that is what is it all about. This is Ukraine's business what they want to decide for their future. Ukraine government might be positioning itself at the moment more towards the west, because they need western support against Russian aggression. But most of Ukrainian people want independence, and I am thinking it is very realistic for the Ukraine, chances are that Ukraine will not be annexed by neither side. And the Ukrainian military fights for an independent Ukraine, they are not fighting there for the Maidan crowd and Brussels. They are fighting to defend their land against aggressive fake separatists.

Even tho Russia warned them to NOT brake the ceasefire.

The only independent faction in the Ukrainian civil war is Donetsk People's Republic and Lughansk People's Republic.

And remember this: the armed insurgency did not start until Kiev decided to use force against the separatists who had occupied public buildings, just like in Maidan!!!

The separatists haven't invaded or attacked any territory outside DPR/LPR territory, remember that also.

Sure, the separatists have got help from volounteers (and Russia), but do you seriously think Russian passport holders make up most of the rebel movement?!
