The West should have provided a lot more than gas to the White Russians fighting against the Bolshevik Red Army. It might have made the last 100 years a lot easier. But then, we all know it's just a play made up by TPTB.

There is nothing to stop Ukraine buying as much gas as they want at $485 prepaid and reselling it to anyone for whatever they can get for it. Since Ukraine is not in EU.

That is how it standing today. No action needed to achieve what you ask for. Gas sold to EU countries (via Belarus/Yamal or NordStream) is different.
