Time for a Russian truth update. Strelkov? No, his real name is Igor Girkin of Moscow. He is a Colonel in the GRU.
Now I ask, if the liberation of Donetsk and Luhansk was truly about Ukrainian born people seceding from Kyiv, exercising their right to self-determination, being an 'organic' revolution then why is a GRU colonel in charge of the Luhansk and Donetsk self-defense forces?
The answer is simple. Putin doesn't give a damn about the Ukrainian people in those oblasts. Putin wants a land bridge to her only fresh water access port. He wants Ukraine's fertile lands in the East. He wants all the factories that are critical to the Russian military, b/c they produce advanced military equipment, arms, ordinance ... etc. Finally, he wants to be able to control ALL of the gas/oil pipeline network in Ukraine, or at least as much as he can.

I doubt Putin will allow Poroshenko to develop and extract that massive wealth. Were Poroshenko smart, he'd sue Russia over the claim and use that money to pay off Gazprom debt. In fact those gas and oil deposits in the Black Sea that Putin illegally seized probably have a greater value than the entire Ukraine debt to Gazprom. It may the case Russia owes money to Ukraine. So lest raise another curtain what is include in EU-UKR agrement that poro sing in ? mayby this truce anounce and leting rusians geting what they want are price for ukr oligarhs to pay IF they want after this "war" still making money on EU - UKR trade Ukr will be alowed to send good to EU without excise or other border fees do not know much about this. Payment on UKR are realy low so if some industrial plants from EU will move to ukr it will be win win situation after all ofc not for regular labor from eu region.
