Even assuming that is correct, nonetheless the referendums were held, the people voted for independence, they are being brutally put down to prevent independence, and for those reasons military aggression, even military warfare really is justified.
But the earlier posts were correct, that Ukraine is being looted by the West is not, of itself, justification for aggression. What difference really, it was already being looted by its own people!
