Almost every revolution in history has been followed up with a secondary one (or more). Examples of a revolution tossing a government that resulted in a long lasting new government are few. Most of those new governments get tossed as well, and relatively quickly, 18-36 months. Look at Libya, that government is really struggling. Egypt? Morsi tossed. Iraq, as 18-36 months after we left, ISIS.

The US government knows this. It is in the interest of the USA to have Ukraine a mess. And based on history the USA knows that Ukraine's new government has the slimmest chances of remaining the one in power. This is beneficial to the aims of the USA. The USA has goals and so does Russia. Picking a side in this is rather silly. Calling one side a terrorist or Nazi is rather ignorant too.

As an American I should be happy my government is creating situations in the world that improve my quality of life. I would think a Russian would want the same things from their government. Thinking otherwise is naive. And simply because a Russian stands up and says, hey I support Russia, don't make them any more or less a person doing the same for the USA. The hatred between us is artificial taught behavior. The use of media and propaganda on both sides teaches the masses the hate we've all come to experience. Most people in their natural state do not look for conflict on the individual level. It's only when we get into mob mentality with someone leading us that we believe this or that about the "enemy". We're all people, brothers and sisters, black, white, yellow, red, and brown. It's only when governments and media exploits those differences for their own agendas that the masses get up in arms about it.
