Mikheil Saakashvili sentenced to imprisonment

Sentenced in absentia by the Tbilisi court, so he is now officially "on-the-run".

Apparently he and the other Georgians really jarred Poroshenko's nerves when they were in Kiev - and the White House too (McCain excepted) because he was pushing to back Putin into a corner with no opportunity for compromise - i.e. pushing us ALL into a war.

Neither Poroshenko nor the Americans want a war, but Saakashvili and his gang were doing all they could to thwart any chance of a compromise.
