This is what the Eastern Ukrainians have been resisting and fighting against since the coup in February.

The protests were overtaken by Western Ukrainian ultra nationalists and I believe that's when the protests became violent.

Within a few days after the coup, the newly form government created a new law banning all ethnic language. This was confirmation of Eastern Ukraine's fears of being mistreated with the new government. They quickly withdrew that law but by then The Russians had already walked into Crimea.

This man's language and belief's is just further confirmation of Eastern Ukraine's fears of ethnic cleansing by the ultra nationalists.

When you understand why Eastern Ukraine is resisting, then you understand the overall conflict. If they stop resisting, we will see ethnic cleansing something akin to what Israel is doing to the Palestinians.

Anyway, that's my take on the situation and I believe all ethnic minorities within Ukraine have a right to resist this illegitimate government who are proving to be racist.
