Nothing is too expensive with a state of war (For any country). All it takes is a willing populace.

Then, look at Brent and WTI growth models. Russian economy is being hammered. At some point soon, Russian military costs will have to be restructured. Actually Ruble should be two times cheaper than it is now - of you compare Ruble and USD inflation rates for the last decade. Almost all the military costs are in Rulbes. Even if it is cheaper against USD, then what? Some companies in Russia are already reporting major rise due to cheap Ruble - after only several months of it. Cheap currency means better conditions for internal businesses. Which is exactly the thing Russia needs now. Had I realised to whom I was replying, I never would have. Forget everything I wrote.
