Woman Interrupts News Report to Confess to Stabbing Her Mother, Blames a ‘Satanic Cult Casting Spells’

The authorities didn’t have to look too far for the suspect wanted in a stabbing case. Earlier this week, she walked right up to a news crew with cameras rolling and confessed to the crime.

Katie Nichols told WVLT-TV she stabbed her 61-year-old mother, Lauri Nichols, early Tuesday morning in Knoxville, Tenn., but her forward confession isn’t the only unorthodox part of the story.

“The satanic cult in this city has been casting satanic spells on me for three, four days. I’m exhausted. I came home and found out my mom was the ringleader and was trying to kill my daughter,” Nichols told the news crew.
