You god damned right its due to fraud. I know tons of people young and old who milk that shit hard with zero and I mean zero real disabilities. Back pain, siaticia, buldging disc, chronic headaches, carpel tunnel. Yes some of those things can hurt and minimize functionality but not to the extent of a serious disability rating, they need job retraining and replacement in their current field. Fuck them all to hell for it.

SSA reexamine the claims and makes a determination as to whether the claimants are still disabled. If not they are dropped from the program. Remember this, be it a Tom Coburn or his polar opposite such as a barbera boxer, each is a politician and each has their own political agenda for or against such programs. Don't believe the hype! They are simply mining for votes. They don't give a rats ass about who should or shouldn't be receiving ssdi or any other .government programs; so long as they get votes.
