I have never heard any of those. We handle our owns quite well. Murderers are locked up in prisons and/or prison hospitals, thou we are in constant conversation with the government and parliament whether some of the sanctions should be more severe.

Why are they not suitable for prisons? (according to people whom I do not know, for not all Europeans know each others..)

Weren't most of those prisoned anyways and killed? Ted Bundy is the only one I have seen document about, I know he was killed.

I do not agree with capital punishment myself and we haven't got that in Finland. We do not approve it even for high treason against the country or in war situation/martial law.

For some rare high treason/espionage/spying cases they have given detention for 12 years ("for life" in here is actually 12 years and after that it can be renewed by president or the high court, few cases have died in prison after not being ever pardoned).

Everyone having a life sentence is also questioned and followed by mental care experts/doctors who give a statement for the court and/or president whether a person is good to go.

It seems the length of the sentences is going up all the time and I think it is mostly good, for apparently most cases cannot be "cured". A killer is a killer, unless you are killing for "good cause".

Europe has a bad history for capital punishment.

I believe most people can be rehabilitated. They don't do it in the US, just warehouse people and put them back on the street worse than before. Some people though go beyond what anyone could trust and some are not able to be rehabilitated. I don't know what the point is keeping these people alive as they are not allowed to do anything productive, just sit in a cell and spread their poison.

Well, the history of Europe per se is quite a lot longer than the US, so hard to say which one is "the worst". Especially when the US inherited the laws of Europe, for most of Americans came from here.. and are still more or less under the jurisdiction of Her Majesty, directly or indirectly.

I think violent people and other criminals can be somewhat rehabilitated and "fixed" but I have little hope for people who go and actually murder or violently rape/torture someone.. that needs so many things to go wrong during So MANY years that any amount of non working psychiatry or medicines will not be able to fix it.

Maybe God can, but personally.. I would NEVER sleep in a same room with a murderer if that can be avoided, for I could not ever trust him that much again. Never... I could maybe work in the daylight with one but still quite wary, that is the human nature and I think it is common sense and the way it should be.

It might be "hard" for a people who has "cured" (if that happens) but that is the price one pays for a murder or similar crime..

I do not know really how much the different states differentiate in food, but .. here in Finland we have zillion "local foods" even thou we only have 5.5 million people living here, for we came all over Russia/Germany/Sweden/etc. and brought the culture with us.

I think we can do 3 years without eating chicken each day, for we have quite a many other meals here too. You can ask for some recipes if you feel brave and trying something different for once?

Well, your food programs mostly show few kinds of dead animals boiled in animal fat or GMO "vegetable" oils.

Then they put a bunch of potatoes in different shapes there and mess it up with some silly "chili" sauce (that seems to be the "speciality" in every redneck junkfood heaven) and lame fake cheese (You do know we Europeans have the best cheese, right?) and mayonnaise filled with E621/951 and similar.
