Seeing as how those who run the world like to force prophecy to come true, I wouldn't be overly surprised if they did try to rebuild it during the next 20 years or so... The whores in control of the USA and Israel are just dying to usher in the end of days and kill us all. They act like they are on a suicide mission dragging the rest of us down with them, unless they figured out time travel and aren't worried about dying themselves? Who knows, maybe they even discovered a way to get to a distant planet that is habitable.

The military upper brass is in on the secrets of the USA/Israel scientific advances, and they are years and years ahead of civilian technology.

I think once the ship(world) is sinking they will find some way to bail out and feed us to the wolves.

I believe a big snag in the temple plan is all of those relics needed for the temple itself. I recall hearing that they needed everything that was in the first temples: Ark of the Covenant, ashes of the red heifer, the Menorah, all that good stuff.

They can't just build a building and call it the temple, they need the religious artifacts to be in place as well to give it significance.

I am reading up on it now and it seems that some of the artifacts have been prepared already, such as the golden Menorah, but they still need to find or produce ashes of a pure red heifer and locate the Ark of the Covenant which has been an ongoing search for many many years.

If you are expecting things to occur according to novels, rather than as written in the scriptures, you will surely be disappointed, and probably deceived.

All I can say is, God's telling me something big is coming up. He won't say what it is. Israel rebuiling the temple would do it?

Couldn't the simple fact that Israel exists, that it was "reborn" in 1948, be enough?

There is no doubt that the temple institute is busy creating implements and other items in anticipation for building a temple. They very well could build one. The point is that for the scriptures to be fulfilled, the beast need only stand in the holy place, declaring himself to be god. Whether that is a newly rebuilt temple or something else, remains to be seen, but if the blood moon tetrad is the signal of the beginning of the trib, we won't be waiting long to find out. The holy place could be any number of places, though probably a bit more specific than the Holy land itself. By definition it could be where the burning bush stood. It could be the tomb of the patriarchs, the holy sepulcher, or even the Temple Mount itself, with or without a temple. Analyze the signs as they appear, by the scriptures. Do not look for preconceived ideas of what the signs will be. Do not assume to know what will be as this limits your field of view and you might miss the real sign because it is more subtle.

For those with an ear to hear... Yeshua said, destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up again. In two places it is written that a thousand years is as a day to The Lord and a day is as a thousand years.

There will be a third temple. What is in dispute is the timing of its construction. I see in the scriptures that messiah will build that temple, after he returns and sets up the millennial kingdom. This temple need not be built for that which has been prophesied of the beast to be fulfilled. Remember messiah's birth and life and what was fulfilled. In one place it said, out of Egypt have I called my son. In another place it said, he will be called a Nazarene. Still in another place it said he would be born in Bethlehem. Pretty much everyone in Israel missed the birth, even though they had the scriptures. The wise men showed up two years after the birth, at a house, not a manger as many falsely teach. This is why Herod had two years and under killed. The point here is that all of those scriptures were fulfilled, but for most it was differently than anticipated and only after the events transpired were they able to understand.
