First post, and I apologize in advance if I comment out of turn, as I am making this comment with the thought still fresh in my mind, and will go back to dig a little deeper to further build my theory.

The Olympics are one of the biggest global events, if not THE biggest global event that brings viewers from every corner of this planet... They are also planned well in advance, years even. Okay, so Sochi had a myriad of hotel issues and security concerns, etc., but as far as planning, directing, designing and choreographing the opening and closing ceremonies goes, that stuff is laid out probably as soon as the winning cities bid is granted. To this, I do not see these as "mishaps".

With this thought in mind, I now ask GLPers to help dig into Canada's "mishap" in the opening/closing ceremonies to see if there are/were any correlations to world events.

My immediate thoughts to the hypothesized Yellowstone connection has me considering the strength lying in the 15 sinkholes in 24 hrs and the HAARP factor... again, I apologize for throwing noodles at the wall so quickly, as my thoughts are racing... This is kind of cross-referencing several topics that have somehow found a tiny thread of similarity.

Ceremonies are laid out step by step well in advance. Now, regarding Sochi, can we ask was the OPENING ceremony ring "malfunction" just that? A malfunction? Could that portion have been omitted from the content in the scripted binder leaving the broadcast commentators to ad-lib it as a malfunction, because lord forbid, there is a major malfunction at an event of this magnitude. Then to add a significant scene in the closing ceremony to 'mock' the malfunction? Where were they rehearsing this? Was this in the script all along? I find it very hard to believe that they were able to coordinate that for the closing ceremony in that short a period of time, as it most likely involved upwards of 1,000+ people to pull it off.

In regards to the Canadian ceremonies, the fourth arm and the bear. The structure was four arms and a center piece all aflame when said and done, five pieces total. Five Olympic rings. The one that didn't protrude in the opening ceremony... could this correlate to the red ring of America like the Sochi incident or was it the Russian ring? And then in the closing ceremony, the release of the bear in its place, possibly representing Russia? Is this pointing towards Sochi? If so, why? If not, why a bear? Were these malfunctions mere coincidence and conditioning us to be more aware or receptive to a more direct message when malfunctions arose in Sochi, or even in future games?

Again, throwing noodles to see what sticks.
