Raw vegetables, seads and fruit.Raw honey raw nuts etc.. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9739208 Yes that's true. I'm willing to try it at this point in my life! I'm tired of being tired all the time. If the veggies can fill me up like meat and dairy can, why not ! |

And it doesn't even have to be 100%. Integrate organic raw veggies into your diet whenever you can. "Let food by thy medicine and medicine be thy food." |

Quoting: BetteDavisEyes Is there a difference? Obviously, it doesn't happen overnight... After reading her story below, I'm inspired to change my diet. I'm not as sick as she was but I do have my autoimmune issues that have plagued me for too long. I must get her app! Here's her site: [link to deliciouslyella.com] Bed-ridden by a rare illness, this 22-year-old cured herself with healthy eating - and now her recipe app is number one on iTunes - Ella Woodward diagnosed with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome in 2011 - Breaks down autonomic nervous system and left her 95% bed-bound - Embraced a vegan lifestyle and hasn't had to take her tablets since - Launched app, Deliciously Ella, which went to number one on iTunes - Now writing a book and her doctors want to test her diet on other patients A self-confessed 'sugar monster' who was struck down with a rare illness that attacked her nervous system and left her bed-bound cured herself through healthy eating. In an effort to turn her life around, Ella Woodward, 22, embraced a fully vegan lifestyle and managed to beat her illness and launch her own successful business. In 2011 Ella was diagnosed with a relatively rare illness called Postural Tachycardia Syndrome, or POTS. [link to www.dailymail.co.uk] Vegetarian for a year and a half now........I wish I had made the transition LONG ago. Yep, my body is much happier with my present meal choices.. Love is like light. I haven't looked at all her recipes but I think some of the dishes are grilled maybe...at least I hope so lol! |

It's been a struggle finding out what I can and can't eat. I had some delicious pancit for breakfast. I love rice noodles. I have to work hard to get protein. I am retirement age and it's hard to change a lifetime of eating meat. |

Thanks Shamar for this video I don't think it is the same in that being vegan you eat no dairy products at all.....I personally feel that animal products are beneficial for us and should not be cut out. For instance you can still get B-12 through animal products. Butter is good for you. Etc. But a raw diet appears to be very good too. Love is like light. The nurses recoiled, screamed for the doctor, and started yelling "are you okay!!??" at me. I was like bitches chill, I'm fine. The doc wanted me to go straight to the emergency room. I said screw that and walked out. I skipped eating the next three days. Except water. Since then I have eaten nothing but vegetables, nuts, berries, fruits, and some other things. Lots of eggs. Some chicken and beaf but very little. Maybe twice a week in small portions. All of it 100% organic. If I couldn't find organic then I simply did not eat. I also started walking then eventually jogging. Exercise was the key to it all. I lost 50 pounds. BP is healthy. |

It's not common, but often overlooked by idiot doctors who are only looking to proscribe more medications instead of truly investigating why someone is sick. By not eating meat, she was able to 'cure' her symptoms. Her allergy would still be there an ready to manifest should she return to her former ways of eating. |

I think so too...at least she didn't waste time to find out! It was very brave of her to change just like that. Now she's helping others who suffered like her. At least now the doctors are paying attention! |

Not with such a severe disease, but vegans that were ill switched to eating meat and all of a sudden they are cured and feeling much better.. It all depends on your genetics and ancestory, as to what diet should suit you. Life is a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves. |
