Quoting: Ms. Superduper Amanda Berry, 27, Gina DeJesus, 24, and Michelle Knight, 33, were honored by Ohio Governor John Kasich at his annual courage awards - where they received a two-minute standing ovation. Kasich called the women's story one of hurt beyond imagination, but also a story that didn't end there. 'It is also a story of three women who found an inner strength and a courage that brought them through and sustained them,' Kasich said near the end of his annual State of the State speech. Yes. You are correct. I feel almost a little bad about bringing it up. When they were first shown or interviewed, it seemed odd to me that they were in such good shape physically, and seemingly mentally, for having been abused and locked up for years. I mean it wasn't a few days they were locked up. It was supposed to be years. There would have been for anyone a lot of trauma associated with that treatment for so long. Now take a look with crisis actor in mind. I am one for a good conspiracy but I think you are looking too deep on this one. For instance in terms of photos alone, you can tell the one on the far right is extremely traumatized, possibly both mentally and physically underdeveloped. Even with all the makeup etc. Same with who I believe Amanda Berry is. The one in the middle looks to be in the best shape and makes 100% sense since she is the same race as he captor, hispanic. (It is well noted that captors take the "best" care of victims of the same race). Lastly, Stockholm Syndrome is obvious in this case since in a stable state of mind the 3 women could have easily overpowered him and escaped. The sheer fact she only called 911 and thought to get help when he left the area also indicates a deep seated psychological trauma. That would have indeed been inundated within someone after years of abuse. |

Quoting: Mickeyblue 9806228 I don't think anyone is wishing anything bad for these women, it's just that from the time the story broke there were just things that made me raise an eyebrow... Some things didn't make sense. For instance was mail delivered every day? They were in the back yard taking exercise and never saw anyone to scream for help? Even three women could take a on a man and create enough of a scene to attract attention...just things... |

Even shortly after they were released after 'years', they were 'study material' to me. Quoting: Ms. Superduper speaking of study...notice both Amanda and Gina have brow piercings...did they get those after they came out? Did they have them since they were kids? (i think not on that one)...something does seem odd about that. Plus how they were 14, 16 and 21 at the time of kidnapping...How the hell would that old man be capable of overpowering the 21 year old? There seem to be some holes. They got the brow piercings to celebrate? To bring them up to style? Too bad, since that stuff is already 'old' isn't it? |

But I did notice that the house had two small flags next to each other on the front porch. One flag was American and the other was Puerto Rican. The next photos I saw only had the American.
