Bill Brady or Rutherford are getting my vote. Brady is a bit of an extremist conservative and a billionare but theyre the only two who support gun rights. The other two republican candidates were open to an assault rifle ban, so yeah fuck them. Rutherford will probably win the nomination anyway, but the allegations of sexual harrassment are going to hurt him big time. The entire shit was rigged to play out this way if you ask me, rutherford wins the nomination but the other rinos and the dems will make him look so bad that the dems will win by default come election time. Brady is a good guy but the polls show him losing to Quinn like he did in 2010. Rutherford is the only republican candidate consistently beating Quinn in the polls and the only to have won a statewide race. If Rutherford gets through the primary, the current issues don't work in a general election and the issue is dead.

You are right, of course. The whole smear campaign was carefully orchestrated and designed to humiliate a good man. Its to his credit he stands tall and won't drop out.

Rutherford is the best candidate to defeat quinn in the general election. Polls have consistently shown him winning against quinn in the general.

No other candidate has that going for them.

It would be Rutherford. My Uncle and he used to be friends growing up (& still are to my knowledge). Decent person according to family members still alive that knew him.

They don't stay in close contact, Uncle moved to another state back in the 70's. But he contacted my Uncle a few year's ago to let him know my mother (deceased) had unclaimed funds, so us kids should go and collect it.

It was an old life insurance policy or something that the state was holding in limbo. My sister was hot on it, I don't think it was a lot, I just signed off on the paperwork so my sister could collect. At least he took the time to call my Uncle and give us a head's up.

Didn't have too, busy man and all. That tells me something. It was a nice gesture on his part.

Allegedly, Rutherford is a self-made man, not too many of those left. He worked to get where he's at. That's enough for me.

Makes governors office very powerful and able to make substantial changes.
