I have! When I began to wake up to how evil this world was, I went outside one night to cry out to The Lord and said I needed to know He saw my pain and fear and what to do about it. I heard a voice that I know now could only have been His Holy Spirit speaking to me...He said "You can choose to focus on the darkness or you can focus on The Light. FOCUS ON MY LIGHT!"

His voice came from the center of my chest where His Holy Spirit now firmly resides in my life! Jesus said, "out of our bellies will flow rivers of living water". Now I know what He meant :)

I had a very intense bowl movement once...about as close as i got...

when my wife and I were baptized water was pouring from our eyes yet we were no crying?

I just experienced the holy spirit the first time the other day


YES it was a teller of truth, yet with such love!
I could see and repent so easily, yet love did not leave me

AND i saw the kingdom, I could touch life

all was a divine expression of perfect holy love straight form that river of life!! ^.^

The holy spirit has the perfect judgement it condemns with perfect love ^^

I believe that this was from the Lord, My body start glittering with this golden oil all over my body and when something touched my body it got on it and I saw a spiritual golden dove fly into my body starting from the bottom part near my navel and entered and rested near the top part of my stomach area.

Also this all happened the day after I received Jesus Christ

I avoid church and the bible, but I have had moments where when I spoke to someone in need, I said exactly the right thing. I know this was not something I thought up on my own. It was something the person needed to hear and it came from my mouth.

Totally surprising, but felt totally natural.

Why is it that when a Christian has an encounter with the Holy Spirit, it's considered a spiritual thing but when an eastern based religion has an experience with say, the Tao or Om, they are considered crazy although the two are essentially the same thing?

I don't think they're crazy, but I'm not sure if they are the same thing;

The holy spirit for me was the most holy thing I have ever experienced, HOLY being the key word
I didnt truly know the meaning of hily until I had the christian experience

It is not a christian experience. It is a universal experience that you have used the christian term for.

To be honest, not sure.

I can say that I have invited the Holy Spirit in but I may be too daft to recognize it when it happens. We are just humans behind the veil after all...
