Help Please: Is a decommissioned power plant safe?

Get a radiation detector and test it yourself in your working area.

Simple.

follow the safety protocols and go through safety drills regularly
don't drink ,don't smoke weed or take sleep inducing prescription medicines
stay away from stress
wear helmet and safety shoes

if it is nuclear plant,then it is unsafe

if it is coal fired thermal power plant,it is nothing dangerous

just don't step into dangerous areas

It was a nuclear plant, not is. I just don't trust it and I don't have a radiation detector in my back pocket either. Thought somebody could shed a little light. This place isn't on the GPS, but it is there still. I don't trust that what they tell me here is actually what they do.

govt and corporates never decontaminate their plants properly

but if you have to work there,try to know the reactor and fuel storage areas and stay away from them

the radiation can harm anyone and nothing is safe form it
