I believe that WWIII has been going on for some time now. I think that They have been using Space Based Kinetic Energy Weapons. Look at the massive explosion in Northern Louisiana, at an Army Base(IIRC the same one that a Nuclear Bomber Wing operates out of), felt & heard, in what?, 4 States a couple of years ago now, which was followed shortly by a similar explosion at a Russian Military Base. Energy Weapons, like HAARP, sound weapons, Genetically Engineered Virus's(what ever happened with the outbreak that was afflicting the Russian Military in Crimea?) & other things that we may not even immediately identify as "a weapon"(I recall hearing that the Yellowstone Caldera was undergoing a sustained attack a little while ago now).
