Nope Roman, I actualy really don't care and now that I hear that you can lose and still be in it, I care even less, Geez no wonder the thing takes so long, like a month right? If you can lose and still not be out, what does it take to get in it? do you even have to win any games?

SHR let me more clear then ahah, you will be out yes but you have to end your qualification turnament before...if you lose this it simply mean you dont go to the next qualificatory turnament, you go home while the qualified teams of every turnament will proceed to the next one, 8° then 4° then semifinals then finals.

Yes to get in you play with some teams in the phases that preceed the championships and be qualified which the US at least managed to do.

I am not an expert of football and i watch only a few match now and ten mostly only my home team, AS Roma, and the world championship every 4 years.

I like Moto GP much more than soccer myself but i recognize that is the most played game in the world.

If soccer was a good game Americans would support it.Bowling is more exciting.

I always find it amusing that you Europeans cannot actualy belive that we really don't care for soccer, trust me we don't. It's also equally amusing to us that the rest of the planet goes so berserk for it. So whatever, have a good time with it and I hope your team does good.

You lost against the Checzs and still have to play Italy and Ghana. There are 8 groups and from each group the number 1 and the runner-up go to the 1/8 finals (16 teams left). From then on it's a K.O when you lose the game and you're out of the tournament. So there's hope, beating Italy and Ghana will probably get you to the 2nd round.

Most illegal aliens are passionate about soccer.

I remember a big push for soccer/football during the late 70's and early 80's here in America...most parents enrolled their children in that sport because it was considered a "non-violent" alternative to football and baseball. These days it's all about grinding down skateboards, BMX bikes, and last but certainly not least...these kids are doing back flips on motocross bikes, as easy as pie.

I'm still a firm believer in the theory that says soccer/football is the most popular sport in the world because it's the most inexpensive sport that has ever been invented (total cost-1 ball, until talent/competition requires uniforms, cleats, pads, etc). Most countries don't have the financial ability to offer the facilities nor the equipment to cover the wide array of sporting possibilities that highly devenoperies can. Poor kids the world over may dream of jet-ski racing, huge wave riding, Honda CR250R back-flipping, half-pipe McTwisting good times, but in reality they are lucky to grow up with access to a "football" they can kick around their village with dusty bare feet.

I particularly despise it when they don't even hit the other player and still roll around on the ground faking it.

That said, thatt's the only part of the game I don't like.

Well the statistics are not in your side since Italy as won this cup already 3 time since the cup exist, and usually end in the very last phases of it semifnals at least quarters when is bad, but with football you never know :D
