Connecticut gun group issues ultimatum to government molon labe or repeal

Its unfortunate that some people have only a cursory, public school exposure to the American Revolution here in the U.S.

I expect that is why they are so comfortable in their daily existence that they cannot be bothered to consider the prospect of losing everything under the collective thumb of a tyrannical group of despots. But, that is precisely what is happening here.

The men who signed the Declaration of Independence had an expectation that they had forsaken their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor. They expected to DIE for something bigger than themselves because it is better to die standing than live a life on their knees beholden to a tyrant king.

The law enacted in Connecticut makes the law abiding citizen a felon ex post facto or after the fact. What they purchased legally is made illegal. Enacting such laws is prohibited by the U.S. Constitution. They don't care. They did it anyway. Infringing on the 2nd Amendment is illegal. They don't care. They did it anyway.

Who are the lawbreakers in Connecticut?

Is it the gun owner who went through the already existing hoops, did the waiting period, passed the background check and legally purchased a firearm deemed lawful to possess only recently by the SCOTUS or is it the politicians who passed a law in the dead of night without oversight and proper adherence to established rules and decorum?

I know who I side with.

I know who I stand with.

I know who friends I have in the military will stand with.

I know who friends I have in law enforcement stand with.

It isn't the politicians and the illegal laws.

How many doors do you think the suits will kick in to take the lawfully purchased arms of the citizens?

My friend, this is a very interesting question. If a blue state has so many people who would rise up, it would suggest that an uprising (don't want this truthfully) would be very wide and far reaching.
