Anonymous Coward User ID: 50571886 Portugal 03/04/2014 07:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "Overthrowers trained inside camps in Poland, Romania and Ukraine. Trained by specialists and very well funded." "Overthrowers wanted to do the same thing they did in Kiev, in Crimea. Russia responded to Ukraine's president appeal with a humanitarian intervention, fullfilling treaties between these two countries." "IT tech inside parliament asked overthrowers to let a woman out of the building. He was shot dead. A man was handcuffed in the square, taken to a basement and tortured." "As for sanctions, yes, there will be damage, but the damage will be mutual. Nowadays we are all connected." "Ianukovitch would have been killed." "We will not wage war against our ukrainian brethren. We're just acting in accordance with the treaties we signed. Only in extreme situation we will intervene." "Change in Ukraine must be legal. Three ways to do this: 1. death of president 2. president's resignation 3. impeachment. None of that happened. Terrorists are illegitimate." "The law must be respected. The Constitution must be respected." "Even not recognizing their legitimacy, we are always in contact with them to maintain the political and economic bond with Ukraine. It is in our interest that the situation comes to a good end." "If Ukraine does not pay its debt to Gazprom, it makes all sense that it starts to charge the regular price instead of the special one." "Why divide the country? For what? A new Constitucion must be approved by the majority of the ukrainians in a referendum, so that all ukrainians participate in the process of change." "It would be cynical a boycott to the paralympics" "Legitimacy of a new ukrainian government would depend of how it is elected. If terror is used, we won't recognize it." Some of the parts I picked up. |

sashita User ID: 54897847 United States 03/04/2014 07:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I watched the entire Putin interview and I will have to admit that I found him strangely captivating. Yes, I know he's a thug and a former KGB killer etc etc , but he does have the ability to capture your attention and he speaks with decisiveness and precision and without notes. He comes across as a leader. I'm not saying I like him or trust him. I'm just giving my impression of him as he talked. I would never underestimate Putin, nor would I ever trust him. His eyes are frighteningly magnetic. This scares the hell out of me. He could be my candidate for the Anti-Christ. |

Putins is not loved, he is feared off and respected therefore he is not the Antychrist. Obama is blindly loved by milions and he is behind the coup at Ukraine...so u better look again |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 3063399 United States 03/04/2014 07:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am not fluent in Russian and certainly the little bit of Russian I studied in College has long ago been forgotten - or nearly so. However I checked the translation of Putin’s exact wording when he recently called Obama a kitty-cat man. The Russian phrase he used can mean 1.) a man with feline qualities, 2.) a man with feminine characteristics or 3.) (when used as slang) can mean: a boy or man who plays the passive role in a homosexual relationship. IE: a “pussy-boy” Which one Putin meant is obvious to the Russian people and press. I do not think that the I am not interested in seeing socialism or Communism in the USA - no thank you - but the leadership qualities in Putin are so obvious and so completely lacking in Obama that it is somewhat embarrassing for the US. |
Wondering Mind User ID: 22054163 United States 03/04/2014 07:29 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Basically it was Russia/Putin has no animosity towards Ukraine. Neither does Russia desire any war with Ukraine. Russia does not accept the Wests behavior of repeated actions and ways of speedily removing the standing government and leaders in other nations, much less Ukraine. Due to it being without the nations peoples as as whole and in a proper due process they are entitled to, entitled through the security of their own constitution. So yes Russia will defend Russia and it will help its people as well as protect its interests. Russia feels the West has only the Wests interests for motive to act in the way it has. And their actions are going against not only Russia but Ukraine as well. To make a mess between Russia and Ukraine does not serve the interests of either Russia or Ukraine and goes against them both in the long run. But that's alright with the west who is not doing it unto their own home nations. So it makes it incidental to the West about the problems losses or hardships even calamity it brings other nations. If doom is it would be with US and west not with Ukraine. The most precious things are the simple things in life, always present in the simplest of minds. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1680182 Netherlands 03/04/2014 07:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Has Putin managed to stop another US-fabricated civl war the like of Syria? Yes, he ahs. Has Putin managed to stop the US cold and show the world the emperor's nakedness? Yes he has. Has Putin managed to consolidate his strategic position in a sovereign country without firing a single shot? Yes he has. Is Putin inspiring some HOPE among the asfixiated people of the "truly democratic" countries of the West? Yes, he is. Does Putin know how to use body language and how to retort the Western mantras and turn them around against those that commit genocides in the name of "democracy" and "human rights"? Yes, he does. Is Putin both a D. Quijote and a true strategist? Yes, he is. If the main "leaders" of the world were listed in the stock market, who do you think would have the highest quote? |
