1. Up until the last ice age ended 10 to 15 thousand years ago, the sea level was 200 feet lower. People have always lived near the coast. Most human cities before this time are just off the coast, buried in mud underwater.

2. Ever see an old 50's car that's been sitting in a field for 20 years with trees growing out of it? Metal rust into dust in less than a few centuries. Any metal tools from 10000 years ago are gone. Much less wood that doesn't last any longer.

The only thing we have left from ancient civilizations is stone, because it last. What would our world look like if you dug it up in 20000 years with everything but our stonework gone.

I just thought about all the discoveries made last century, lots of stuff was found in the early 1900 but then WWI came, research was stopped and forgotten. Some was resumed, but funding was scarce. Just before WWII came, a lot of archeological research was done again - and stopped by war and forgotten....

Pretty intriguing, OP. Even Hitler's SS forces went into Egypt during WW2 to ransack the living hell out of as many pyramids as possible. From what I understand they ransacked the place of MODERN technologies. Everything we have now is exactly what was ransacked from the pyramids such as CRT based TVs, AM/FM radios, solar powered calculators, and even smartphones. I don't know if they were iOS or Android phones but I read that account in a UFO magazine that I think published that article sometime in the 1980's. We can't take anything for granted nor blindingly believe what the MSM says about anything. Do the very best thing you can do for you... think for yourself!

Being a James Bond fan, I'd happily watch that movie in the theaters... if I had the money! lol It'd be rather intriguing to see if Hollywood butchered the information about the rather ancient pyramids or kept the information pretty accurate just knowing that most people are so programmed that they'd automatically believe the movie's pure entertainment and couldn't possibly be anything else.
