Shaking In Northwest Indiana !
WOW ! Here I am at this computer, and all of a sudden my room starts shaking. My desk, which is a very heavy antique oak desk, started to vibrate. It only lasted about 10 seconds. Anyone in my area feel anything?

My husband lived in California for several years. One quake split his house in 2. He didn't feel anything a few minutes ago, but he is really wrapped up playing the Wii right now.

That was just the collective sigh if relief by Indiana Pacers fans after the Golden State Warriors took off to Boston after defeating said Pacers earlier.

When we had a quake a few years ago, he barely felt it, even though it did some damage to the retaining walls in the garden. I guess he is more used to the bigger quakes.

Yep, I noticed it as well here in NW Indiana. Thought it was a train but seemed too heavy and went to look. No train.

We have had that happen several times in our area. Years ago, there was a derailment and fire about 1 1/2 miles from our house. Too close for comfort.

We are a good distance from the train tracks. We are on a short residential street, so we do not get heavy traffic.
It was so unreal to have this desk vibrate. This thing weighs a ton, figuratively.
