I completely agree. Total waste of time. It was bad enough before and now with the expanded period for daylight savings it is even worse.

technically, time doesn't exist. so to be honest I don't think it really matters

now how I really think about it, ive never had a steady work schedule 7-3:30, so maybe it will fuck with me. but im still getting my 7-8 hours of sleep so I don't think it will bother me. even though I still don't agree with it.

when i worked 3rd shift i absolutely detested the Spring Forward; i ALWAYS had to work. i was at work for nine hrs but paid for 8. in the fall, i never did work the Fall Back where you worked 7 and were paid for 8; however, the company i worked for absolutely refused to acknowledge that issue.

I work night audit here, and for the last 8 years I have been the one to do both foreward and back for the entire office. Luckily, corporate watches this and pays me accordingly. But I am done with candle conservation! We can give it a rest now.

I prefer to have "longer" day but the biggest downside to this is having to take the kid to school or bus stop in the dark during the winter when the day is at its shortest.

I remember growing up in the States, we always changed the last weekend in March---that's what we still do in the rest of the world. We'll be skipping ahead the 29th. When did the NWO force America to go three weeks earlier in March and October-- and why???

What is there to acknowledge really. All this means is you worked an extra hour 1 night in spring and got paid for it in Autumn. At the end of the financial year your income was the same.
