Don't blame sugar or fat, blame diet colas which rob the body of calcium. |

No decay! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31687718 Too harsh & abrasive. The dentist will want crowns all around after a few years of that. Id that what you want? My Dad did it his whole life, always had good teeth. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 54314623 United States 03/06/2014 10:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | sounds like disinformation to get you to not go to dentist til you really need it and have to pay more money. better to pay 100 for a filling than 2700 for root canal and crown, trust me. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 17540839 also all that info is total bs, the ancient egyptions were known to have terrible heart problems from bad tooth decay, the sand would get in the bread and they would just grind down their teeth and die early So you're saying that most the people on Earth are just props to make people believe that nature is correct? Baking soda taken on a regular basis will neutralize the acidity. The intake of vitamin D strengthens the immune system -in Northern native cultures found in fish oils which worked in conjunction with salt and fresh water to neutralize acids and to fight disease. (caries is also a kind of disease). = very low caries rates. Right? |

Our ancestors didnt brush their teeth and I am sure were not dealing with cavities all the time, so maybe some chemical we are exposed to or something. Cool thread OP. Quoting: centrist77 Actually I think they found toothbrushes in Egypt made of sticks. Most likely it was only the Pharaohs who brushed. Then again they also found ancient dildos in Egypt. That has nothing to do with teeth, but id thought I would share. Epstein didn’t kill himself. |

How may dentists tell us to forget the damn toxic waste they put in toothpaste (drinking water) and instead use vitamin D and baking soda? Northern tribes had very little dental caries. They had no fluoride and very little sunshine- but they DID have cod and other fish high in vitamin D. England is a low sunlight country- supplement your diet with vitamin D! No decay! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31687718 Ya, me too. I don't mind baking soda at all. If makes teeth feel clean without a toothpaste film and freshens the breath. Lots of mornings, I get up and do tooth pulling with oil when I am in the shower and then I brush with baking soda. I am almost 60, my teeth are very nice looking, clean and healthy and no cavities. I won't touch florid toothpaste. |

Weston A. Price ... It's the diet silly I think there is truth to the genetics thing. I do use baking soda and even do some oil pulling while in the shower. I will not use florid. And my teeth at 60 are cavity free and very clean and nice looking. However, MY GRANDPA HAD PERFECT TEETH AT 90 WITH NO CAVITIES. I have always felt that the natural water that we had when I grew up was a part of this and genetics. It is rare for a 90 year old to have perfect teeth and I am pretty sure that he did not brush everyday--though I don't know his dental habits---so that is a guess. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 32008295 United States 03/06/2014 11:56 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I heard a dentist say titanium in the soil where you grew up is good for healthy teeth. Raw honey and raw butter - saw an account on here (GLP) a few months ago by a mother who treated her son's severe cavities with these and the teeth actually regenerated - cavities disappeared! I make a jug of organic green tea with raw honey every day for me and my son to drink. Plus we keep a jar of organic virgin coconut oil in the bathroom. Swishing a spoonful in the mouth for around 15 minutes "pulls" infection from the body. Another handy tip I picked up on GLP! Didn't people use to brush their teeth with urine before the 20th century? I wonder what that does. |

I'm going to try out these oral probiotics someone mentioned on a thread for halitosis the other day that supposedly should help restore proper flora in the mouth. Though some medical journal studies I read about it said they hardly make a difference, some people report positive results, so I'll still give it a go. |
