if I eat bread it's 1 slice of the grainiest bread you can find.. It's laborious to eat healthy in todays marketed culture. sugar is every fucking where.

I'm married with 2 kids. I have 20 or less carbs a day. I have to shop separate from them. costs a little more but really worth it. I have cut meal portions in have and in 10 days I have dropped 14lbs. I have added 1 hour in the gym on free weights plus a 10 minutes ab workout. I started at 240. I can feel a massive change inside of me.

This is my second time trying this diet. I went one week before and had a cheat day (Bad Idea). After the cheat day I failed at the diet. This time no cheat day. LOL

Thank you for the encouragement. I know the wife is already happier. Best thing is that my 11 year old boy hits the weights with me everyday. Spending an hour with him everyday has already made it worth it.

Were you aware it's no longer the 1990s?

You are merely shocking your body, this diet is a proven failure for over a decade now.

Eat rice, fish, vegetables, whole grains, if you want real health and weight loss.

Cutting the sugar is the only good thing.

Ask yourself how many overweight vegans do you know?

Good luck and good health!

Especially when such a fad diet was created and promoted by someone that passed away bloated and overweight and most likely had a heart attack that lead to the slippage on the [thin] ice he was walking on.

Plus, the superficiality that includes the categorization as something general as "sugar" or "carbs" as being "bad"/detrimental and not really needed while the examples attributed to that pertain fundamentally on what is mostly junk food and blindly focusing on the carbohydrate content of it rather than the other constituents and/or ingredients with the effects that they have on the body. Processed white sugar doesn't not equate to "sugar" in itself.

I usually start with a grilled steak (8oz) for breakfast or a spicy can of V8. At lunch I have 2 strips of grilled chicken. Dinner varies but last night I had a 1/2 cup of steamed broccoli with baked salmon filet.

Extreme low carb diets cause colon cancer.

...and constipation.

High fat diets block insulin receptors, leading to diabetes.

Blood flow throughout the body is significantly slowed down after a single high fat meal.
